Submitting or changing an account number

Do you want to submit an account number? The options are listed here. Also if you are an entrepreneur and you want to submit an account number for non-personal taxes.

1 account number for benefits, income tax refunds and refunds of the healthcare insurance contribution

Submit 1 account number that is in your name for your:

  • income tax refund
  • benefits
  • refund of the healthcare insurance contribution

It may also be a joint account.

How to submit an account number in your name?

Do you want to change your account number for another type of refund? Or are you unable to use Mijn Belastingdienst or Mijn toeslagen? You can submit a Dutch account number:

Please note!

It may require up to 3 weeks until we can use your new account number. Do you want us to stop payments into your old account number earlier?

  • Do you submit the new number via Mijn toeslagen? Simply indicate this there.
  • Do you submit the new number in another way? Please call the Tax Information Line directly after submitting the new number.

Do you have an  account number outside of the Netherlands?

You are an entrepreneur

Submit an account number for the income tax refund, benefits and refund of the healthcare insurance contribution via Mijn Belastingdienst or Mijn toeslagen.

Digital form for other taxes

Submit an account number for refunds of:

  • VAT
  • payroll taxes
  • motor vehicle tax
  • other taxes (corporation tax, Eurovignette, national waters pollution levy)

Log in to the secure part of our website (only available in Dutch) using your user name and password (only available in Dutch). 

Do you have an  account number outside of the Netherlands?

When will your account number have been processed?

You will receive notification within 15 working days:

  • that we have processed your account number, or
  • that we need more information to process your account number

When should you inform us of a change?

Does your account number that we use for payments to you change? In that case you must always inform us of the change.

Have you changed banks?

If you change your bank your account number will change as well. You must inform us of your new account number so that we can make payments to you. For your direct debit payments to us you can make use of the switching service.

Exception for child care benefit

In some cases you can have your child care benefit transferred directly to the child care organisation.
