Dividend tax refund
If, as a foundation, association or other legal entity, are you not subject to corporation tax, you can now file a digital request for a refund of the Dutch dividend tax withheld. More information about how to do this can be found on this page.
How to register for a dividend tax refund?
You have to register first in order to request a dividend tax refund. You can do this by sending in the form 'Registreren voor teruggaaf dividendbelasting' [Registering for a dividend tax refund]. This form can be found in the secure section of our website. You only have to register once.
I do not have any login data for the secure section. What now?
That depends on whether you already have an RSIN (Legal Entities and Partnerships Identification Number).
I have no RSIN
First register with the Chamber of Commerce. You will then be given an RSIN, along with login data for the secure section of our website, where you register for a dividend tax refund.
Do you live or are you established in a country other than the Netherlands? If so, you don't have to register with the Chamber of Commerce. You can register using the form Registreren voor teruggaaf dividendbelasting [Registration form for dividend tax refund].
I have a RSIN
If you have an RSIN, but no login data, you can register using the formulier Registreren voor teruggaaf dividendbelasting [Registration form for dividend tax refund]. After a few days, you will be sent an e-mail containing your user name and password, which you can use to log into the secure section of our website.
How to request a dividend tax refund?
You can request a dividend tax refund by completing the form 'Verzoek teruggaaf dividendbelasting' [Request for dividend tax refund]. You can find this form in the secure section of our website. The form is available for you under 'Teruggaaf dividendbelasting' [Dividend tax refund]. Request a dividend tax refund for each separate calendar year. In doing so, you may submit several requests for a refund per calendar year.
