Signing with a digital certificate (entrepreneurs)

1 types of certificate is in use: the PKIoverheid services server certificate (the Public Key Infrastructure for the Dutch government)

You will need this certificate when you file tax returns via the government's Digipoort channel.
The actions you will then need to take are explained under Standard Business Reporting (only available in Dutch).

Two-way traffic

Users of digital certificates can use these certificates to file their digital returns and receive substantive messages from the Tax and Customs Administration – or, in other words, the certificates are suitable for two-way traffic. Tax intermediaries use this form of signature so that they can receive assessment service messages

The Tax and Customs Administration does not issue assessment service messages for payroll taxes returns.
