Return messages for tax returns via the old entrepreneurs’ portal

Please note!

On 1 July 2024, we will permanently close the old portal for entrepreneurs. This means that you need to switch to Mijn Belastingdienst Zakelijk in time. See also:

On Mijn Belastingdienst Zakelijk, you log in using DigiD or eHerkenning. Companies and organisations not registered with the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (KVK) can apply for eHerkenning.

When you file a tax return via the old entrepreneurs’ portal or manage other tax matters in this portal, you will receive a reply from us:

  • Confirmation of receipt
    After you have sent your return, a confirmation of receipt will appear on your screen within 1 minute.
  • Error message
    If we fail to receive your return, an error message will appear on your screen. Follow the instructions in the error message.

Please note!

The return is filed the moment we have received the tax return. You will find the date and time in the confirmation of receipt.

Tax return overview

After you have received the confirmation of receipt, the status of your tax return will also be updated within 1 minute. You will find this overview when you are logged in to the old entrepreneurs’ portal.

No confirmation of receipt

Have you not received confirmation of receipt (or an error message) after 1 minute? Then there is probably a problem with the internet connection. There are several things you can do:

  • First check if your internet connection is working properly.
  • Check if there is technical maintenance on 1 of our portals. You can read about it in service messages on the page Log in for entrepreneurs or on Verstoringenoverzicht (Service interruptions overview, only available in Dutch) on our website.
