Drugs (Opium Act)

It is prohibited to bring in, have in possession or receive hashish, cocaine, heroin and other drugs. The penalties are severe. Do not bring drugs with you on your travels.  Do not have drugs sent to you.  The same applies to precursors (raw materials and consumables and suchlike) for drugs.

The prohibition on bringing in, having in possession and receiving drugs applies to countries of the European Union (EU) as well as countries outside the EU.

Airplanes and ships from known high-risk areas are monitored intensively. Customs strives to limit the nuisance during these checks as much as possible.
