How does the scheme work?

The participants in the GmbH & Co., KG or Co-ownership to which the scheme applies, file income tax together for their joint participation in the specific fund. The participants give power of attorney to the GmbH & Co., KG or Co-ownership to file joint income tax and to represent them at the Dutch Tax Administration, also for objections and appeals. The GmbH & Co, KG or Co-ownership sends us a annual statement showing how much tax the participants have to pay.

The tax inspector imposes dividend tax on the GmbH & Co., KG or Co-ownership once. The amount is the total of the income tax to be paid by all participants together. Without this scheme, each participant would have had to pay income tax separately.

What to do if the scheme cannot be applied?

Natural persons not falling under this scheme must file income tax. The economic value of the immovable property has to be established. Legal persons have to file corporation tax.
