Into which account will my provisional assessment be refunded?

We pay your provisional assessment into a Dutch or a foreign bank account.

Payment into a Dutch bank account

We prefer to pay your provisional assessment into a Dutch bank account (not a savings account). State your Dutch bank account number in the form 'Request for or change of a provisional assessment for non-resident taxpayers'. You can order this form online.

Payment into a foreign bank account

If you do not have a Dutch bank account, and you state a foreign bank account, the payment may be delayed. If you wish the payment to be made into a foreign bank account, you do not state a bank account number in the form 'Request for or change of a provisional assessment for non-resident taxpayers'. You can order this form online.

When we inform you of the amount of your provisional assessment, we will also send you a form in which you state, at the bottom, the following information:

  • your full foreign bank account number (including the bank codes)
  • the name, address and country of your bank.

Once we have received this form, we will pay your monthly instalments into your foreign bank account.
