Returning the tax form
The cover page of the tax form shows the return address and the date by which we must have received it. There is no need to send attachments.
Declaring your worldwide income is mandatory
You are obliged to declare your worldwide income. If you fail to do so, this will come at a cost. In that case, we will determine the amount of your worldwide income ourselves. This may have unfavourable consequences for you because we do not always know the deductions you are entitled to. This means that your worldwide income will be higher and you will also have to pay a higher contribution to the CAK. Or you will receive a lower benefit from the CAK. We will also cease payment of your benefits and you must repay the benefits you have received.
Requesting a postponement
If you are unable to send back the return in time, you should request a postponement before the date stated in the return. You can request a postponement only in writing. Send a letter to:
