Conditions
You can use this form to apply for an exemption form BPM (private motor vehicle and motorcycle tax) for a vehicle (passenger car, delivery van or motor cycle) with a foreign registration number (i.e. not Dutch) if you meet these conditions:
- You live in the Netherlands and work for an empolyer in another country.
- Your employer lets you use a motor vehicle with a foreign registration number (i.e. not Dutch).
- Your employer gives you a written statement that the vehicle with the foreign registration number is mainly for work outside the Netherlands.
You cannot choose yourself in which country the vehicle is registered.
Please note!
You must apply for this exemption before you drive the vehicle with a foreign registration number on public roads in the Netherlands. If you get the exemption, your family members who live with you in the Netherlands can also drive the vehicle.How to fill in the form
You can fill in this form on your computer. You need Adobe Reader version 9.0 or higher. After you fill in the form, you must print it, sign it, and send it by mail.
