From iDEAL to Wero

The payment method iDEAL will be replaced by Wero. Wero is the new European version of iDEAL. This new digital payment method was developed by the European Payments Initiative (EPI), a partnership of major European banks. The change from iDEAL to Wero will take place in stages. That is why you will see Wero next to iDEAL more often: iDEAL | Wero.

iDEAL | Wero and the Tax Administration (Belastingdienst)

At the bank's request, we now also refer to iDEAL | Wero on our website. Do you pay your tax assessments in your Overzicht betalen en ontvangen (Payments and refunds overview, only available in Dutch)? Then you will see the new iDEAL | Wero logo there. You do not need to change or install anything. You can continue to pay with iDEAL as usual.
