How do you report a name change for your organisation?

That depends on the situation. Is the organisation registered in the Chamber of Commerce's Business Register (Handelsregister Kamer van Koophandel, KVK)?

• The organisation is registered in the Business Register

  In this case, report the change of the organisations name to the Chamber of Commerce (KVK). We will automatically receive the organisation's new name. You do not need to report the new name to us.

• The organisation is not registered in the Business Register

  Some organisations are not required to register in the business register. This is the case for:

  • Dutch organisations such as silent professional partnerships without a business, informal associations (associations that are not incorporated through a notary), funds for joint account, and other collaborative ventures
  • foreign organisations such as legal entities and collaborative ventures
