From which bank account number will you receive your refund or benefit?

From 1 May 2026, tax refunds (teruggaaf) will increasingly be paid from the new bank account number with Rabobank: NL04 RABO 0200 1122 44.

From June onwards, benefits (toeslagen) will be paid from the new bank account number.

You will see the new Rabobank bank account number next to the transferred amount in your banking app or on your bank statement.

You can also always find this bank account number:

• in your 'Overzicht betalen en ontvangen' (Overview of payments and refunds), under the tab 'Te ontvangen bedragen' (Amounts to be received), for:
  • income tax refunds
  • Healthcare Insurance Act contributions
  • motor vehicle tax refunds
  • benefits you are due to receive, such as housing benefit (huurtoeslag), childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag), healthcare benefit (zorgtoeslag) and child budget (kindgebonden budget)
• on 'Betaaldatums voorlopige aanslag' (Payment dates for provisional tax assessments, only available in Dutch)
