I filed a worldwide income return. What happens next?

After you have filed your worldwide income return, we will send you a 'Niet in Nederland belastbaar inkomen (NiNbi)' decision (Income not taxable in the Netherlands, Dutch only).

What does this decision state?

The decision will state the amount of your income that is not taxable in the Netherlands. Your wages that are taxable in the Netherlands or your aggregate income are listed separately. These amounts together form your worldwide income. You do not pay income tax on this amount in the Netherlands.

Separate notification on your benefit or treaty contribution

We use your worldwide income to determine the final amount of your benefit or benefits. The CAK uses the worldwide income to determine the amount of your treaty contribution.

If you disagree with a tax assessment

The decision tells you how to object.
