How can you pay your tax assessment?
If you have to pay an amount to the Tax Administration (Belastingdienst), you will receive payment information from us. In this payment information, we state the bank account number you must use.
From 1 May 2026, the payment information will show the new bank account number with Rabobank. Once we have switched, we will ask you to pay to this new Rabobank bank account number. From that date, we will also pay tax refunds to you from this new bank account number.
The way you pay tax to us will not change because of the bank switch. However, due to the switch from ING to Rabobank, our bank account number will change from 1 May 2026.
Do you pay your VAT with iDEAL in Mijn Belastingdienst Zakelijk?
Then you will automatically pay to the new bank account number.
Do you pay by direct debit (automatische incasso)?
Then you do not need to do anything. We will automatically change the direct debit to our new bank account number.
Do you pay by online banking (internetbankieren) or with a paper transfer form (overboekingsformulier)?
Then use the bank account number shown in the payment information you receive from us with the tax assessment (belastingaanslag) or bill you need to pay.
Tip!
Do you receive payment information from us with the new Rabobank bank account number? If so, replace the old bank account number right away in your records and/or in your online banking address book.
Have you set up a standing order (periodieke overboeking)?
Then change the bank account number as soon as you receive payment information from us showing the new Rabobank bank account number.
Tip!
Check now where you have saved the bank account numbers of the Tax Administration. This way, you can change them in time.
Do you process payments in batches or automated payment files?
Do you process payments in batches or via other automated payment files? If so, make sure that from 1 May 2026 you use the new bank account number, based on the payment information from the relevant tax assessment.
