Simplified procedures in relation to Customs Transit by road

Customs has 4 simplified procedures for the Community Transit and Common Customs Transit Procedure. You must meet the general conditions (only available in Dutch) and hold an authorisation.

The simplifications include:

Comprehensive guarantee or guarantee waiver

This authorisation will safeguard the payment of the customs debt that has incurred or is liable to be incurred when regularly making use of Customs Transit Procedures and Temporary Storage.

Authorisation application

You apply for the permit by submitting the Comprehensive Guarantee Authorisation including possible reduction or Waiver Application Form (only available in Dutch).

Authorised Consignor

The Authorised Consignor authorisation allows you to place and dispatch goods from your own premises or another location designated under the Community Transit or Common Customs Transit Procedure, without having to bring and present either these goods or the corresponding Customs Transit Declaration to Customs.

Authorisation application

You apply for the permit by submitting the Authorised Consignor Permit Application form (only available in Dutch).

Use of Seals of a Special Type

This authorisation allows you to use Seals of a Special Type as an identification measure under the Customs Transit Procedure (Community Transit or Common Customs Transit). The seals that you may use can be found at Trader sealing.

Authorisation application

You apply for the authorisation by submitting the Application Form for the Authorisation to use Seals of a Special Type (only available in Dutch).

Authorised consignee

This authorisation allows you to receive goods that have been placed under the Customs Transit Procedure (Community Transit or Common Customs Transit) directly into the location(s) listed on the authorisation.

You apply for the authorisation by submitting the Authorised Consignee Authorisation Application form (only available in Dutch).
