Simplified procedures in relation to Customs Transit by road

Customs has 4 simplified procedures for the Community Transit and Common Customs Transit Procedure. You must meet the general conditions (only available in Dutch) and hold an authorisation.

The simplifications include:

Authorisation Comprehensive guarantee or guarantee waiver (CGU)

This authorisation will safeguard the payment of the customs debt that has incurred or is liable to be incurred when regularly making use of Customs Transit Procedures and Temporary Storage.

Authorisation Authorised Consignor (ACR)

The Authorised Consignor authorisation allows you to place and dispatch goods from your own premises or another location designated under the Community Transit or Common Customs Transit Procedure, without having to bring and present either these goods or the corresponding Customs Transit Declaration to Customs.

Authorisation Use of Seals of a Special Type (SSE)

This authorisation allows you to use Seals of a Special Type as an identification measure under the Customs Transit Procedure (Community Transit or Common Customs Transit). The seals that you may use can be found at Trader sealing.

Authorisation Authorised consignee (ACE)

This authorisation allows you to receive goods that have been placed under the Customs Transit Procedure (Community Transit or Common Customs Transit) directly into the location(s) listed on the authorisation.

Authorisation Authorised consignee for TIR-operations (ACT)

This authorisation allows you to receive goods that have been placed under the External Customs Transport procedure and transported under the TIR procedure with the Carnet TIR proof of declaration, at an appointed location.
