Payments from abroad

Are you making payments from a foreign bank account? In that case your bank may ask for the Bank Identifier Code (BIC) of the Tax Administration when making the payment.

You can then use the following data for payments:

  • our account number / IBAN: NL04 RABO 0200 1122 44 or another account number of the Tax Administration
  • the BIC (Bank Identification Code) of Rabobank is: RABONL2U
Do you need a BIC with 11 characters? Then enter: RABONL2UXXX.
  • Name and address:
    Belastingdienst
    P.O. Box 9048
    7300 GK Apeldoorn
    The Netherlands

Sometimes a bank may ask for the address of Rabobank in addition to a BIC. The address is:

Rabobank
Croeselaan 18
3521 CB Utrecht
The Netherlands

Always add the payment reference of your tax assessment to your payment.

Please note!

Payments from abroad usually require additional processing time. You are personally responsible for the timely transfer of the amount to our account. Your bank will let you know how long this process takes.

Possible extra charges when paying from abroad

It is possible that your bank will charge costs when you make a payment. These costs may be costs for the payment itself or because you are not paying in euros. You must add these costs to the amount of tax you have to pay. If you have questions about this, please contact your bank.

Please note!

On 1 May 2026 we switched from ING to Rabobank. That is why we have new bank account numbers and a new BIC. Read more about the switch on the page New bank for the Dutch Tax Administration.
