Did you lose the payment reference?

You can look it up in several ways:

Paying with iDEAL

Did you file your VAT return through Mijn Belastingdienst Zakelijk?

If so, you can pay the return with iDEAL.

Read more about this at Btw-aangifte betalen met iDEAL (Paying VAT return with iDEAL, only available in Dutch).

Are you paying an additional VAT or payroll tax assessment?

In that case, you can pay with iDEAL in your Overzicht betalen en ontvangen (Payments and refunds overview, only available in Dutch). Log in with DigiD, European login or eHerkenning.

Other payment information

Are you paying your One Stop Shop (OSS) VAT return?

Always state the reference of your return (meldingskenmerk). You will find it in the overview of submitted OSS VAT returns in Mijn Belastingdienst Zakelijk.

Are you paying your dividend tax return?

Always state the reference of your return (meldingskenmerk). You will find it in the overview of submitted dividend tax returns in Mijn Belastingdienst Zakelijk.

Are you paying from abroad?

Then you may need a BIC code. The BIC code is INGBNL2A.

Please note!

On 1 May 2026 the Tax Administration switches from ING to Rabobank. When we have switched, we will have new bank account numbers. Read more about this at New bank for the Dutch Tax Administration.
