Apply for tax return postponement 2022 – how to do it?

This can be arranged online via Mijn Belastingdienst. Find out how to do this if you are a non-resident taxpayer.

Log on to Mijn Belastingdienst (Dutch only)

Do apply before 1 July 2023

As a non-resident taxpayer, you will be granted a postponement until 1 November 2023. We will send you a letter of confirmation within 3 weeks.

Are you a resident taxpayer? In that case, you have to apply for a postponement before 1 May 2023. You will then be granted a postponement until 1 September 2023.

You can apply for a postponement until the date on which we must receive your tax return. Your tax return letter will state when that is.
