Do apply before 1 May 2021

You will then be granted a postponement until 1 September 2021. You will receive a letter and confirmation from us within 3 weeks.

Are you a foreign taxpayer? In that case, you have to apply for a postponement before 1 July 2021. You will then be granted a postponement until 1 November 2021.

The procedure to apply for a postponement is as follows:

  1. Download the ‘Application tax return postponement’ form (only available in Dutch).
  2. Fill in the form on your computer and print it out.
  3. Send it by mail to the address printed on the form.

In the case of a payable assessment, you pay interest on tax

If we impose an assessment on you after 1 July 2021, you will pay 4% tax interest on it as of 1 July.
