You are studying abroad - can you get healthcare benefit?

If you are studying abroad, the only way to keep your healthcare benefit is if you remain insured in the Netherlands for healthcare costs. The Sociale Verzekeringsbank (SVB) will decide if this applies to you.

Do you no longer have Dutch health insurance (zorgverzekering)? Then you are not entitled to healthcare benefit. You must cancel the benefit yourself in Mijn toeslagen (only available in Dutch).
